Kerala (Ooty & Munnar)

Arrive in Coimbatore, meet the Before Holiday representative at the airport and proceed to Ooty. Enjoy the scenic view en route. Rest of the day at leisure. Optional Sightseeing.
Overnight at the Hotel in Ooty.

The day is booked for exploring the beauty of Ooty. Visit the Botanical Gardens, with a peaceful Lotus Pond and then cover Doddabetta. It is the highest peak of this hill resort. Other attractions include the tea estates, Lamb’s Rock, Dolphin’s Nose (a picnic spot) Ooty Lake, Kodanadu’s View Point and Catherine Falls. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Morning post breakfast we will go on a half-day sightseeing tour around Coonoor visiting the Dolphin's Nose, Sim's park – The Sim's Park is an important place to visit in Coonoor. Spread in an area of 12 ha, the park has a collection of over 1,000 plant species, including magnolia, pines, tree ferns, and camellia. The Botanical Garden is partly developed in the Japanese style and derived its name from J. D. Sim, the secretary of the Madras Club in 1874.
Dolphin's nose – this spectacular spot is situated at an altitude of 1,000 ft above sea level and some 10 km from Coonoor. The top of the peak resembles a Dolphin Nose and so it is named. It is an enormous rock formation that is entirely unique. There are gigantic ravines found both to the left and right of Dolphin's Nose and there is a view of inspiring Catherine Falls with its continuing stream several thousand metres below which is located a relatively short distance away opposite of the Dolphin's Nose. Later Transfer to Ooty Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Morning post breakfast, proceed to Munnar. You are now to experience the beauty of the green paradise on your Munnar vacations where sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make it a unique experience. On the way visit Cheeyappara waterfalls (seasonal), Valara waterfalls (seasonal), Spice plantation etc. Reach Munnar town! Check in to your hotel! Rest and relax! Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, visit the Mattupetty direction covering below mentioned places.
Photo point: Good place to take snaps among the Tea Gardens. Mattupetty Dam – Echo point - The natural Echo phenomenon is always happening here. Kundala Lake - A super dam where we can go boating in the dam.
Sightseeing Options: Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary, tea gardens and tea factory.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Thekkady (Periyar). Arrive in Thekkady and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy the Spice Plantation tour. The sightseeing tours in Thekkady offer a chance to explore the quaint hill towns, hill slopes, spice and tea plantations, and wildlife sanctuaries. The Periyar Lake(Boating), and various spice plantations are some of the popular places to visit in Thekkady. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

After Breakfast drive to Alleppey. Board on to the houseboat. Cruise through the backwaters and inland waterways of Alleppey. Overnight onboard the houseboat anchored in the backwaters.
Check-in Time 12.00 Noon!
Boarding place: Alleppey.
You will be greeted with a Welcome Drink (Non-Alcoholic). The crew will give a brief introduction.
12: 00 Noon Cruise starts: Relax and enjoy the canals and rivers and backwater.
Cruise through backwaters of Alleppey. Sightseeing includes paddy fields & coconut lagoons & Resorts of Alleppey & Bird sanctuary.
Stop for Lunch. Menu: Traditional Kerala cuisine with fish (Karimeen) / Chicken, etc 2:30 PM.
The cruise starts again. @ 4.00 PM Tea & Snacks will be served.
@ 6: 00 PM Cruise stops. Enjoy the evening with a Village walk(Optional) around @ 7: 00 PM. Dinner and you can relax and sleep in our super a/c bedrooms @ 9:00 PM.
After breakfast Cruise starts again to Alleppey and drops you to the boat jetty by 9 to 9.30 A.M

After breakfast, proceed to the Airport to board the return flight. You can opt to visit Alleppey Beach or half-day Cochin Sightseeing or Shopping in Cochin for Complimentary. In Cochin, you can visit Dutch Palace, Jewish synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church.
