Munnar Tea Gardens

Day 1 :

Arrive in Cochin | Transfer to Munnar | Sightseeing in Munnar (130 km/approx. 3 hours)

Arrive in Cochin, meet the Before Holiday representative at the airport and proceed to Munnar. You are now to experience the beauty of the green paradise on your Munnar vacations where sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make it a unique experience. On the way of visiting. Cheeyappara waterfalls (seasonal), Valara waterfalls (seasonal), Spice plantation etc. Reach Munnar town! Check in to your hotel! Rest and relax! Overnight stay at the hotel. Sightseeing Options: Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary a top peak of Munnar where you can see Nilgiri Thar (mountain goats), tea gardens and tea factory.

Day 2 :

Sightseeing in Munnar | (Entry Fee is not included)

After breakfast, visit towards the Mattupetty direction covering below mentioned places. Photo point: Good place to take snaps among the Tea Gardens. Mattupetty Dam – Optional - 15 Minutes Boat Drive in this Dam. Echo point - The natural Echo phenomenon is always happening here. Shooting point - Famous point where normally a film shooting takes place. Kundala Lake - A super dam where we can go for boating in the dam. Visit Nyayamakad Waterfalls, Anamudi View point (South India's highest peak) and Eravikulam National Park (Rajmala), where one can see rare species of fauna such as the Mountain Goat. Back to the Hotel, Rest and relax! Overnight Stay in – Munnar.

Day 3 :

Drive to Thekkady (130 km/4 hrs) | Sightseeing in Thekkady

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Thekkady (Periyar). Arrive in Thekkady and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy the Spice Plantation tour [trek is on your own]. The sightseeing tours in Thekkady offer a chance to explore the quaint hill towns, hill slopes, spice and tea plantations, and wildlife sanctuaries. The Periyar Lake(Boating), and various spice plantations are some of the popular places to visit in Thekkady. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel. Sightseeing Options: Periyar wildlife sanctuary, Periyar lake, Kalaripayattu Martial Arts show, Kathakali Show, Spices Plantation (Coffee & Cardamom)

Day 4 :

Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey (156 km/ 5 hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Alleppey. Board on to the houseboat. Cruise through the backwaters and inland waterways of Alleppey. Overnight onboard the houseboat anchored in the backwaters. Check-in Time 12.00 Noon! Boarding place: Alleppey. You will be greeted with a Welcome Drink (Non-Alcoholic). The crew will give a brief introduction. 12: 00 Noon Cruise starts: Relax and enjoy the canals and rivers and backwater. Cruise through backwaters of Alleppey. Sightseeing includes paddy fields & coconut lagoons & Resorts of Alleppey & Bird sanctuary. Stop for Lunch. Menu: Traditional Kerala cuisine with fish (Karimeen) / Chicken, etc 2:30 PM. The cruise starts again. @ 4.00 PM Tea & Snacks will be served. @ 6: 00 PM Cruise stops. Enjoy the evening with a Village walk(Optional) around @ 7: 00 PM. Dinner and you can relax and sleep in our super a/c bedrooms @ 9:00 PM. After breakfast Cruise starts again to Alleppey and drops you to the boat jetty by 9 to 9.30 A.M

Day 5 :

Drive from Alleppey to Cochin (60 km/ 1 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to the Airport to board the return flight. You can opt to visit Alleppey Beach or half day Cochin Sightseeing or Shopping in Cochin for Complimentary. In Cochin you can visit Dutch Palace, Jewish synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church.
